Education plans are available for eligible students and researchers.
Before you start
Try the browser editor without a credit card. A free account can publish public, non-commercial scenes with 1 GB of storage. Commercial use, private scenes, AI generation, and self-hosted export require an eligible plan.
Import Gaussian splat files in PLY, SPLAT, SPZ, or SOG format, and supported XGRIDS LCC/LCC2 folders. LCC folders need their metadata and companion files together. You can also add GLB and glTF 3D models. Compatibility depends on the export format, not just the capture app.
Published tours can be explored on compatible phones and tablets. Use a desktop browser to author your tour in the editor. Scene size and device capabilities affect viewing performance.
Plus and Business include commercial use for individual client projects. Removing StorySplat branding or redistributing the viewer inside your own product requires Enterprise. Enterprise is required for organizations exceeding the license’s $1 million annualized revenue or funding threshold.
Plus, Business, and Education exports retain StorySplat attribution. Enterprise includes white-label rights to remove it and apply your own branding.
Exports created during an eligible subscription remain licensed for those projects after cancellation. Your account returns to Free and paid account features follow your new plan. Existing viewing invitations and share links are not automatically revoked just because your plan lapses; they still depend on the scene remaining available and the owner keeping access enabled.
Web exports use a CDN-hosted viewer by default. You can host the viewer and its required supporting files locally and update the package’s references. Enterprise + Offline goes further: it includes the full desktop editor for offline authoring, local project storage, preview, and export. External links, iframes, or other online content in a tour still need a network connection.
A private scene is stored on StorySplat but is not publicly browsable. You control access through viewing invitations or private share links. Plus and higher plans can create private scenes. A tour exported to your own hosting is separate: you control its hosting and access.
Scene analytics and session replay help you understand how visitors explore your published tours. They show engagement, not proof that a tour caused a booking or sale.
