Build tours on your own infrastructure.
A signed, air-gapped editor that works with the WiFi off.
Some scans can't touch the cloud. For defense contractors, secure facilities, kiosks, ships, and anywhere IT says no: the StorySplat desktop editor lets you author, license, and play back fully offline. Truly air-gapped, or offline-first with optional publishing — you specify the mode at contract time.
Author fully offline
The StorySplat desktop editor runs with no account, no sign-in, and no cloud dependency. Scenes save to your local filesystem. Optional publishing is available in the offline-first mode.
Licenses that never phone home
License keys are validated entirely on-device with cryptographically signed keys (Ed25519) — no license server, no activation callback. Built for air-gapped environments.
No auto-updates, ever
The desktop app contains no updater. You control exactly what software runs, and a deployed installation never changes underneath you.
Play back without internet
One-click local preview: a built-in localhost web server plays your exported story on the same machine — review a deliverable with the network cable unplugged.
Exports that carry their own runtime
Self-hosted exports generated by the desktop app bundle the complete viewer runtime — no CDN, no external scripts required to render the scene on your infrastructure.
No analytics, no beacons
StorySplat tracking is disabled in offline exports. User-authored external links, iframes, or custom HTML may still access the network. The bundled AR engine ships inside the export too — no third-party AR cloud, no API keys, no per-view fees. (AR on phones requires HTTPS on your network.)
